MoneyLion Financial Literacy Campaign
Using fake money to teach people how to make real money.
Context
64% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck and, for the first time, more than half of all six-figure earners also said they were stretched too thin. MoneyLion, the all-in-one money app, saw that Americans need to learn how to money better.
For the month of April we helped MoneyLion to create a fresh campaign that started with one idea; planting thousands of fake dollar bills all over New York City. Those bills had a QR code that unlocked a money hack that helped people to save money or even a real money prize. From there we crafted fun and informative social content to keep users engaged with MoneyLion throughout the entire month.
My role was to establish the art direction for the campaign, and lead the design and animation teams in creating all assets.
